Raw Cacao for alertness and focus

Since going plant based vegan back in 2016, I have become increasingly sensitive to caffeine. I can't drink coffee anymore because it causes me to have stomach pains, anxiety, and hyperactivity. I needed caffeine to study for finals but couldn't handle the side affects so I decided to try cacao. I simply mix it with some coconut milk or almond milk or make it into a smoothie.




For a smoothie,

1/4 cup raw cacao powder

2 tablespoons raw cacao nibs

1 can organic full fat coconut milk

1 TBSP cinnamon

1 TBSP vanilla extract

1 spotty ripe banana or 3 pitted dates

Optional: 1 TBSP coconut flakes
